Messages Matter

What motivates today’s teens to consider a career in STEM? Join us on Friday, February 24th at 12 pm ET as we dive into DiscoverE’s recently released Messages Matter research. A follow-up to the Changing the Conversation and Engineer Your life research in the early 2000s, DiscoverE set out to learn today’s students’ and parents’ level of understanding and interest in engineering, assess their general career motivators, and evaluate current and new engineering messages. Working with the Global Strategy Group, DiscoverE found that while a gender divide still exists, targeted messages and engaging engineering profiles can increase interest among historically underrepresented groups. Join us and learn how you can use these updated messages in your programs.
